Torrent 90 LED Moving Head

Saturday, January 1st, 2011

Full Focus now offers the Torrent 90™ LED Moving Head Spot, the world’s first 90W LED moving head fixture coming in at under $2,000!  LOADED with features like dual gobo wheels, rotating prism and iris, it is easy to use thanks to its large LCD control panel.  This fixture is built to last!  This Torrent 90™ is whisper quiet, and significantly smaller, lighter and brighter than the competition.

Torrent 90 LEDPro features are included everywhere in the Torrent 90™, including  optics which provide a nearly totally flat, even beam with less than 10% output variation edge-to-edge.

With dramatically decreased weight and high-quality stepper motors, this fixture is nearly silent when moving, with an amazing 55dB @ 3′ sound rating.  Even the casing is a work of art, molded with a unique rubberized exterior which resists scratching and cracking.  Two sets of built in quick-release mounting points make rigging a breeze.

Backed by a 2-year warranty and powered by a state-of-the-art 90-watt Luminus™ CBM-360 Light Engine, this fixture is built to impress.

Full Focus is excited to be a part of the Blizzard Lighting dealership network.  We look forward to new products from Blizzard Lighting in the future.

Full Focus will be adding several of these Torrent 90 movers to our rental inventory.  Take a look at the other products they offer.  LED pars, strips, smaller movers, both spots and washes.

Christmas at the Galt House, Louisville KY

    Saturday, November 20th, 2010

The Christmas season is in full swing at the Galt House in Louisville KY.

Full Focus Inc. was invited by the Gary Musick Company to light a new concept show opening at the Galt House Hotel.  This family styled Christmas show is running for a six week period at the hotel.  As always the Gary Musick Company has handpicked an amazing cast of singers and dancers to debut this new show.
Our assignment for this show was to design a lighting plot, program the show and then make sure it could run on auto pilot for six weeks.  One of the major obstacles in this room was trim height.  But with a handful of side lighting positions both upstage and down we were able to get a good compromise with modeling the cast and set.  The show is just under an hour and runs auto pilot with midi time code from the audio hard drive.  Everything went as planned and we had a great opening show.
It’s worth stopping in to see if you’re in the area.  Dinner is served as well with the entertainment and would make a great evening out with the family!  Our thanks go out the team at the Gary Musick Company.

Lighting the Allure of the Seas

    Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010

October 2010 the Full Focus Inc. team will travel to Turku Finland where the Allure of the Seas, the newest member of the RCCL fleet is being built.

Full Focus Inc. has been chosen to work with the producers of the new RCCL Allure. This is the sister ship to the Oasis of the Seas which we were a part of in 2009. These are the largest passenger ships on the sea.  MSE out of Hollywood FL wroks with the dancers, event, and youth staff to create themed events on the ships.  Full Focus works with MSE to light these events.

All of the shows are set up to run with time code or some other method of automation.  This keeps consistancy in the shows when the current staffs contracts run out or new people are hired.  Most of the ship uses Wholehog products to control the lighting and LCS for the audio and timecode.  As far as fixtures go it is a wide variety of manufactures.

    Kris Allen VIP

Full Focus Inc. provides backline and house sound for the Kris Allen VIP event in Conway AR.

October 27, 2010 Kris Allen and Blackbird Academy of Arts did a benefit concert here in Conway AR.  Blackbird Academy asked Full Focus Inc. to provide the backline, house sound and lighting for the VIP event that took place right before the concert that evening.  Full Focus also provided the front of house console, monitor console and some backline gear for the concert itself.

Chris Mayhaw headed up the event for Full Focus Inc..  The VIP event was a small acoustic type set and only for the sponsors.  Our gear list was mostly Yorkville Sound for the PA, monitors and amps, as well as the backline gear, then an Allen & Heath front of house console.  Lighting was a handful of 1 watt LED pars that simply accented the decor.

Chris was very pleased with the Yorkville Sound products and Full Focus is very pleased to offer their full line products for rentals and sales.  Everybody had a great time and Blackbird Academy did a great job of organizing the entire event.
